I have sent in probably 70 pictures to Missouri Conservationist and I finally hit the nail on the head! This is the first time they've ever written back and if you want to see the picture its in my gallery. This is my first picture that will be published in a magazine PROBABLY. And ive submitted plenty to a lot of places.

Thank you for sharing your photos with us. This is a very nice picture of a flying squirrel and you were lucky to capture it. These squirrels are nocturnal and are seldom seen. I will be happy to consider your picture as a possible reader photo in a future issue of the Missouri Conservationist. Should your photo be selected, we will notify you before publication.
Because of the high volume of reader photos submitted, if we are not able to use your photo at this time, we may keep it on file for as much as a year for possible future use. Thank you again for taking the time to contact us, and for reading the Missouri Conservationist.
